EL SALVADOR: Salvadoreño

I wanted to start this month with this critically acclaimed short film by Will Ramirez, a Salvadoran-Canadian, who returns to visit family in rural El Salvador to connect with them. His family fled the Salvadoran Civil War when he was a small child in the late 80s, and Ramirez attempts to navigate family history (and a truck through the back country) and looks at his own identity and to the future of El Salvador.
