What do I know about El Salvador?

Not much really – this is a great country to start with since my knowledge is really weak about Central America as a whole! I’ve read in the news about El Salvador’s issues with violence and gangs – but that can’t be the whole story, there’s a whole country to explore!

I do know there’s a well-loved Salvadorian restaurant here in Ottawa – seems like a good starting point!
